I’m the face and name behind Rope & Anchor Trading Co. Limited - a floating studio dedicated to quilting, creativity, and connection.

With over 30 years’ experience in HR, training, and development - including 25+ years as an HR Manager - I bring a deep understanding of how people learn, grow, and thrive. That foundation shapes everything I do, from designing beginner-friendly quilt patterns to leading workshops and retreats that spark joy and build confidence.

I live aboard a 62-foot narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal in the South East of England, with my husband and two dogs. My studio, The Little Boat, is where I dream up designs, stitch, baste, and quilt - all while floating gently through the countryside.

I specialise in creating quilt patterns that feature visual row-by-row instructions and easy-to-follow diagrams. They’re perfect for beginners and a delight for confident quilters seeking quick, satisfying projects.
