  • Who designs the quilt patterns?

    All patterns are designed by Tracy Perks, founder of Rope & Anchor Trading Co. With over 30 years in HR, training, and creative development, Tracy brings clarity, charm, and emotional resonance to every design.

  • Are your patterns suitable for beginners?

    Absolutely. Most of our patterns feature row-by-row visual instructions and easy-to-follow diagrams. They’re perfect for beginners and also loved by confident quilters looking for quick, satisfying projects.

  • Do you offer workshops or retreats?

    Yes! We host seasonal workshops and one-day retreats that blend creativity, surprise, and community. Our next retreat launches November 1st and features a festive appliqué project. Look out for our Retreats in Somerset, One Day Retreats and Workshops in Bedfordshire.

  • Do you offer support if I get stuck?

    Of course. We’re here to help! You can reach out via our contact form, or join our community newsletter for tips, tutorials, and behind-the-scenes updates.

  • Where are you based?

    Rope & Anchor Trading Co. is run from a floating studio aboard a narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal. We travel throughout the UK, but our patterns and resources are available worldwide.

  • Where can I see Tracy in action?

    Tracy appears regularly as a Guest Designer on Sewing Street TV, sharing techniques, inspiration, and new pattern launches.

  • Can I return or get a refund on a pdf pattern?

    Unfortunately no. Digital downloads are very different to physical products, and all rights are waivered with regards to returns. However, if you have a problem or a question then please contact me via the Contact Page, and I will do my best to help you.

  • Can I return a physical item? (UK)

    If you would like to return any items with regards to your physical order, please ensure that you contact me within 14 days of receiving your order. I will then supply you with a return address. Specified items must be returned within 14 days. This does not apply to bespoke or made to order items, these unfortunately are non-refundable. Once received a refund will be issued, excluding shipping costs, only if items are returned in an unused condition. The shipping costs for all returns are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • Can I return a physical item? (Outside the UK)

    If you are an overseas customer unfortunately, I cannot offer a refund. If you have any questions or queries regarding your order, please contact me via the Contact page and I will do my best to help you.

  • Can I share my purchased pattern?

    No, please do not share your purchased pattern. Please support me and my small business by sharing my website with your friends or sewing groups.

  • Do you sell wholesale?

    Yes, Rope & Anchor sell wholesale on printed patterns. Please get in touch for minimum order quantities and prices, via the Contact Page.
